Busy October

October was such a crazy month. it started with the st. George marathon. for some reason the marathon pic don't like my computer but you can go to my sister Sara's blog to see those pics.
i love this pic

Tayler loves to play dot to dot games on Internet. they can entertain her for hours

This is my birthday cake that sara and tayler made for me.
my kids having fun on the swings
I went to New York to help my friend charity move back to utah. These are sculptures at the air port in New Jersy.
This is Ben, charity little boy, who is so stinkn' cute!!! but he didn't really like me as much as his mom, so i drove most of the way.
We stopped in Palmyra, and went to the Joseph Smith farm. i learn a lot of cool church history, then we took a walk in the sacred grove. loved it!
You can see the temple from the farm, so i took a pic from both views
Here we are on top of the Hill Camorah, it was a pretty cool monument

Next we stopped in Kirtland Ohio. Learned a ton of church history here, this was an awesome place.
Our next stop was going to be Nauvoo but the GPS led us astray and it took up down two Interstates which put Nauvoo 2 1/2 hour more away so we decided to skip it and see how far west we could get. we drove 14 hours that day making it to Kansas City. Next morning we drove for about 10 hours to denver, then another 9 hours the next day getting all the way home to st. george. It was a fun trip, but i was sure grateful to not drive anywhere the next day.
We Got our front yard pretty much finished. love it!
it was a lot of work but well worth it
Tayler and Katelyn a ton of fun sliding down the rock while rochelle, alex, brady, and i finished up the yard. Special thanks to Alex for fixing our sprinkler system.

Ya it just look awesome!
Two days after getting back from New York we headed down to Mesa Arizona for Aaron's wedding.
The reception was really fun. There theme was a masquerade
on the drive on sara and i played guess what flavor of fruit loop is in your mouth. Then sara counted down form 500 as fast as she could
Then when i got home from that brady went hunting with troy and his day
this is tay's pumkin the she designed
Tayler was a fair riding a catipillar. for a few days after halloween tayler would tell me. "mom i was to go trick or treating today"

Tayler was sick on sunday so we couldn't go to church so we made my desk. well mostly brady did. i sanded a little but we ended up needing stain remover, it just kept gumming up the sanding pads. Now i can do nails at my desk insted of at my kitchen table.

Tayler make her bed all by herself now and pick up her room by herself (most of the time when she is asked to)

it looks like she is trying to get up on the couch but acctully she is sleeping

She is just so pressious when she is sleeping
love it when she sleeps
Ali's favorite place to ride in the car. she is sleeping

Amber, Sara, and i made this cat cake for her sitter's birthday which happens to be hers as well. we had lots of fun!

Aroma Touch Therapy

Helps relieve
Stress ~Emotional distress, career choices, family discord, financial worries and the like elevate stress levels. Clinical studies have linked high stress and chronic stress to numerous negative health conditions.
Toxic Insult ~ Exposure to a wide array of toxic insults, including disease-causing pathogens, hormone and pesticide contaminated food products, and increasing levels of free-radicals from pollution, foods, and sunlight contribute to rises in the occurrence of varying illnesses.
Inflammation ~ The increased consumption of food with pro-inflammatory components (foods high in polyunsaturated vegetable oils such as safflower, sunflower, corn and peanut oil) together with high carbohydrate, low protein diets contribute to increased inflammation in body systems. Stress, with its accompanying imbalance of cortisol, can also contribute to inflammation, as do various (and increasingly prevalent) immunological dysfunctions. Studies increasingly show links between fatal diseases and inflammation.
Automatic Imbalance~ he opposite of homeostasis, an imbalance of the autonomic nervous system (aka: the ANS or visceral nervous system) can negatively impact health in a number of ways. Restoring the body's homeostasis can reduce the physiological impact of stressers on the body.

I took an Aroma touch class last weekend. It was AMAZING!!!! I discovered an other one of those thing that i love to do and learn about. It got me really interested in functions of the body and how the oils can help balance you out mentally and physically. I'm going to be study physiology and reflexology. I don't even care that there will be a lot of reading involved, and if you know me, you know that i hate reading!
I did the Aroma Touch on Brady a couple of time now, and he loves it too. So we order a massage table, i can't wait till it get here.
If anybody wants to try it out, or have an oil party to learn about it just let me know!
I love being a homeostasis state!
(i know i'm a nerd, but who cares i love it anyways!)

Things in August

lately this has been tayler's favorite toy to sleep with. it's her stick horse.
Al A Wishes

radom pics of tay
The faces of Tayler
we were up at the cabin this weekend and someone found a horny toad. Tayler loved holding it! she held it for 30 mins then made me hold it, but ooops the little guy got away.
Tayler got to help with rocking the new fire place. she was pretty cute to watch. she'd pick out the rocks, then she'd help with putting the mud on the rock, and when she got tired of that she just bossed brady around telling him what to do.

Then we went to kanab and stayed the night.

she has no fear and a lot of trust

We got a puppy! And a Cat!

we now have brady's old cat who is 22 years old and....

...a brand new puppy! we named her Al-A-Wishes

she is super sweet!

Tayler is loven having a puppy

4th of july

we had a contest to see who could make the most patriotic table cloth. Since the grandma's were the judges we did a patriotic grandma. in then end we all won and got stickers. i was a little disappointed, we are all grown up now and there can be winners and losers

we went for a ride down the provo river. it was pretty fun. in the end the water was really calm.

Tayler loved the fire works!

her favorite was sparklers

after the sparkler would go out tayler would say mommy i want more stars!

she used the most sparkler than another one else. i'm not sure how many she did but i think it was around 8

she help make glowing bracelets for everyone and herself. the forth of july is now her favorite holiday. (i have a feeling Christmas will change that)

The Catch Up! May and June

now these are not in order at all. sorry it took forever to update my blog

this is tayler's baby chicken that she drew all by herself! i didn't even show her how to draw it.

This is my drawing of grandma. i have to say almost as good as tayler at drawing

Tayler broke her little piggy bank because she was carrying it around and playing with it all the time like a toy. so brady is helping her pick up the money and put it in the big piggy bank. she learned about penny's nickles dimes and quarter and can now tell you which on is which.

Tayler plays on the big play ground now. she loves climbing up the slides!

you know those stories where the mom says i turned my back for two seconds? well i alway thought that was stupid to say cuz sec 2 isn't long enough for a mess to happen, you know it should be like 5 sec or something. but this did happen it 2 sec! She tells me the her dinosuar is swimming. i guess she didn't know that teradatols fly not swim. and syrup is now on the shopping list.

Tayler is help us clean all the weeds and other junk out of our front yard. she went and got socks and put them on to be her gardening gloves.

Here is my still of a deal leather couch that sara and i found. it is so perfect my house, and way cumfy. For those of you that never made it over to the house warming party, feel free to come visit and get a tore of the house, they are still free! and you can sit on my awesome couch.

i installed this outlet. i'm pretty pround of myself. if it wasn't for the gfi being bad it wouldn't of had to of been redone.

we went to the splash pad over by the washington parkway exit and in the grass was a ton of lady bugs. Tayler helped up find them and then we would pick them up for her so she could hold them.

These are just cute random picks. the one on the top left, she dressed herself and her clothes are on backwards.

more fun radom picks

Tayler helped make the pots for an herb garden for grandma Cindy's birthday present.

this is taylers first time of dressing herself from head to toe all by herself. including her pantys.

i think all kids do this, but it's still cute!
